A mystery pickup art gallery has been featured in the New York Times, The New Yorker and The Guardian.
The New York Post described it as a “fascinating and unusual art exhibition.”
The New Yorker described it this way: “This is a collection of quirky, original pieces.
And for a moment, we’re in a world where a collection like this exists.”
The Guardian called it “a new genre of art.”
In a post on Twitter, a source from the exhibition said the work was “unique and imaginative.”
The artist, named as Unknown Artist, said the piece was “originally created for a local art fair and is now part of an exhibition in New York City that was curated by the artist and is being published in the spring.”
The gallery also sells mystery books, including a “Mystery Pickup” book, and a book called “I Love Mystery.”
The art gallery will be open from Feb. 24 through March 3.
The New York Public Library will be hosting a mystery picking contest for books that feature the mystery pickup artists work.
The exhibition is open to the public and open to all ages.
