When Indie Music became a thing, people were excited.
They had a new genre and a new way to enjoy music.
It was a good thing.
People were excited about music.
We had something that they could enjoy and we were trying to help them do that, and I think we did a good job.
And I think that’s what we did, too.
The thing that’s always made me really sad is when people who are really invested in this stuff, they’re always thinking, ‘Oh, I love this, I want to listen to this.’
You know, we had a record that was really good, but we couldn’t even sell it because of the fact that we were going to do this.
And that was the last record we ever made.
We’re just sad about that, because that’s the sad thing about music, too, because it’s about you, the artist.
So, if we were still doing it today, I would still do it.
But it’s so hard for us now.
So when we did it, I don’t know how people were going, like, ‘Wow, this is cool.
This is what we wanted to do.
This will help us get more of this kind of money.’
We had a couple people who were really invested.
They were like, we’re going to take this and make a million bucks.
But we were in a position where it was really, really difficult to do that.
And it was the only way to be in a band that would be able to make that kind of progress.
I think if we had been doing it 10 years ago, we probably would have made more money.
We wouldn’t have been able to be a really big band.
It would have been so hard.
So I think there’s definitely a lot of regrets about that.
I do think, to a certain extent, that we’re the only ones that can really do it right now.
We should have had this album before we made it.
And we should have done it in 2009, but it wasn’t like that.
So it’s not like that’s a regret.
It’s just, you know, the way we were.
We got to this point where we had so much money.
And when we got to that point, we really should have gotten into a more stable, more sustainable way of doing it.
It wasn’t as much money as we could have made, but I think the only thing that we would have gotten was more of a foothold into this music industry, which is, to me, the most important thing in the world.
It gives people a chance to feel that they can do something.
It allows you to have that confidence in yourself, and it allows you the freedom to have a creative outlet.
And you know what?
We should all be in bands.
We could all be artists, and we could all make music together.
That’s what it’s all about.
I don, really, have any regrets about being in a really, not-really-a-band thing, because we could’ve just been artists.
I mean, there was so much that we could be making.
It could have been a real band, but there’s so many things that we did that were not really a band.
We didn’t have to do it in the way that it was.
We made a bunch of songs, we made a couple of records, and that’s fine.
But if we could just have done that, we would’ve made more.
And people would have done more.
It might have been more successful, but you know.
But that’s just the way it was at the time.
And at the end of the day, it was just the right thing to do, to make more money for us, and make sure we were making it in a good way.
That was the best thing we could do at the point we were at, and in hindsight, I’m sure that it’s a lot more important now, and if we can do it again, we’ll do it better.
We never could have done anything like that, or made enough money to really sustain us.
So there’s just a lot that’s sad about it.
I wish we could go back to the day when we were just musicians.
We’d just be out on the road doing that, just playing gigs.
And then suddenly, we’d have the label, and there’d be this big, huge opportunity for us to get into the music industry.
And just the fact of the matter is, it’s very difficult to get to where you want to go when you’re in the music business.
I’d love to see us at that point in time again.
I’ve been a musician for a long time, and you know why?
Because I have that desire to play music.
I want the opportunity to do music, and to be able take my art and do
